The visit was organized upon initiative of Rosatom State Corporation in order to provide the government and ministry officials of Egypt the information on achievements in the Russian nuclear industry, safety and reliability of the Russian nuclear technologies and also, innovative technologies, implemented by ASE Group of companies at the Nuclear Power Plants in Russia and abroad.

On April 5 the Joint Statement on the final acceptance of Kudankulam NPP Unit No. 1 was signed by representatives of JSC “Atomstroyexport” and Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL).
31.03.2017Unit No.2 of Kudankulam NPP has been transferred to the mode of commercial operation
The provisional acceptance certificate of Unit No.2 of Kudankulam NPP has been signed between JSC ASE EC and the operating organization of India. It means that the annual guarantee operation period of the unit has been started. For NPCIL this is a starting point for the unit to be transferred to the commercial operation.
